月岛萤意识到那可能是个来东京旅游的外国游客，不巧撞上地震，便用英语说道：”Please don't be afraid. You are safe here. It's only a temporary blackout. （请不要害怕。你在这里很安全，断电只是暂时的。）“
”Oh my gosh it really freak me out. The freaking ceiling just collapsed out of nowhere... I've never been through an earthquake before.（天哪我真的被吓到了。天花板就那么掉下来……我从来没遇到过地震）“ 地板还在上下摇晃，女声急促地颤抖着。
”Don't be afraid.（不要害怕。）“ 月岛萤又重复了一遍，他把自己语气放得缓慢而坚定，脑内回忆博物馆的地震逃脱手册，In a few minutes, the earthquake will come to a stop. “Do you have ant battery left on your phone?（你的手机还有电吗？）”月岛萤问道。他想不出别的帮助游客转移注意力的方式，只能从自己最熟悉问题的开始。
还好对方很信任他。身边传来悉悉簌簌翻包的声音，一个方块屏幕亮了下，“Yes.（有的。）”
“When you leave safely, please inform your family and friends and let them know you are safe. ”（平安离开的时候，和家人或者朋友报个平安吧。）月岛说，有意将话题放到成功离开后，“If you can't reach them, do not worry, as it may be difficult to make phone calls during this time.（如果联系不上也不要担心，这段时间电话会很难打通。）”
他一番话还没说完，几个穿着荧光背心的工作人员已经从职员室内走出，手中拿着掰亮的荧光棒和救灾手电，指引着人们往外走。一些观光者也打亮了手机，为旁人照亮脚下。在手电的光中，月岛萤第一次看清了那位游客的面貌，那是位三十岁上下的红发女人。走出门后，红发女人冲他道谢：“Thanks a ton! How can you be so chill? Is it like a thing for all Japanese guys to be this cool under pressure? I've heard Japan gets hit by earthquakes a lot, never thought I'd actually experience one. Seriously, I would've freaked out if it weren't for you.（太谢谢你了！你好冷静，还说日本人都是这么冷静吗？我一直听说日本地震很多，没想到真的遇上了，没有你，我肯定得吓死。）”
“You are welcome. If you live in a country that experiences numerous earthquakes, you will also get used to it.（身在地震多发的国家就是这样的，您不用客气。）”月岛萤答道，不知怎么停了一下，“I also need to go find my......my friend. （我也要去找我的，我的朋友了。）”
